1. There will be three (3) scholarships offered; each will be valued at $1,000. The scholarship committee, upon approval of the CBH CO-OP Board of Directors, may award larger and/or additional scholarships if funding is available. Any donations to the scholarship fund will be accepted with much appreciation, but so as not to change the intent of the scholarship.

2. To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant’s parents or guardian MUST be a current coop member in good standing.

3. The scholarships do not have to be awarded every year. The decision to make the award will be made by the scholarship committee and that decision will be final.

4. The scholarship committee will be composed of three or four members of the Board of Directors of the CBH CO-OP. If there is a potential conflict of interest between a committee member and an applicant, the member shall excuse themselves from the committee. A worthy alternate should be selected by the committee in the event the first choice recipient decides not to attend school.

5. The scholarship does not have any restrictions as to discipline and is also available for a trade school. The applicant must attend a university, community college or trade school that has been certified by an accrediting agency.

6. The scholarship is for graduating high school seniors only.

7. Applications must be submitted by February 13th of the scholarship year. All entries are confidential and will only by viewed by the selection committee. ONLY complete and type-written applications will be considered.
